Getting Your Ideas Funded

Careers. This session will look at how you can get your creative ideas funded, looking at the funding landscape, understanding funders’ hooks, and writing great proposals.
Cook, Taste and Share Recipes From Around the World
A tasty opportunity to learn about new recipes and food! We are holding a cooking demonstration for students to show off their favourite recipes and foods.This is your opportunity to come along and help with the cooking or come and taste and learn. All students are welcome – we are particularly looking for students who have a recipe from home (whether home is Scotland, China, USA etc) to share.Contact Fiona or Graeme at welfare@gsa.ac.uk.

Student Welfare Drop-In Service

Student Welfare will be holding drop-in sessions at the Student Union (The Vic) to offer students practical advice on how to manage money, funding and debt advice. This is a great opportunity to ask questions or pick up information to help you make the most of your resources. If you are worried about budgeting, finances or need advice on funding, GSA Student Welfare Advisers can give you guidance on a variety of topics:
- Discretionary Funding
- Budgeting and financial management
- Debt advice
- Support with any welfare problems you may be having
